Father Emmanuel Katongole is one of the three original founders of BLI and was born and raised in Luwero. He is a Professor of Theology and Peace Studies and the Director of the Ansari Institute at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN. He is the author of several books concerning the intersection of Africa, the environment, and reconciliation.
